Dominica Felici-Skal
My name is Dr. Dominica Felici-Skal and I have been in the field of education, data analysis and assessment, and specialized learning for over 20 years. My research interests include: Remote Learning & Assessment and the connection between the Dyslexia and Autism Spectrum. Prior to education, my background was in business administration and customer service. For me, virtual learning and assessment provides more of a clinical experience by relating observations of the learner's perspective to customize their instruction through research-based learning approaches. As a result, success occurs in less time or rate of growth.
More about Dominica: I am grateful to be married to my high school sweetheart and we have been together for over 30 years. My husband and I become experienced in special needs as we worked in a nursing home during our high school and college years. We became caregivers to members of our family that had been physically and/or mentally challenged.

About
Dominica
I would want to build a relationship to find the root cause and provide a list of options for assisting that person so that they have the freedom to make their own choices.
I enjoy measuring the rate of growth that occurs through remote learning when all are in the comfort of their own home.
Assessment, data analysis, and technology in the classroom has always been an interest of mine. As I gained years of experience and the opportunity presented itself to work remotely, I took that path. I enjoy the experience of communicating with people all of the US and across the time zones.
